An application updater caused an unplanned restart of the remote desktop server.

Play Database offline (to be refreshed)
The Play Database for EX WAS NOT taken off-line to be refreshed from the production database, in preparation for a Business Office test, as previously scheduled for October 2.
It will instead be refreshed as part of the EX 4.3.3 upgrade, in progress.
Notifylink Server
Notifylink will be unavailable for approximately 45 minutes while updates are installed.
All email and calendar events will sync once the service is back online.
Scheduled Third Saturday Maintenance: EX and myEMU
Saturday (20 Oct 2012) is a scheduled Saturday Information Systems maintenance outage.
We expect outages for only the following systems between 8:00am and 8:00pm on the 20th:
* SISDB (EX) and myEMU
SIS and myEMU server update
There will be a two-hour outage of SIS (EX) and myEMU servers this Saturday, 13 October from 8-10am. More details are available in the remainder of this post.
myEMU and SIS will be unavailable to faculty, staff, students and off-campus users during the outage. We are installing essential updates ahead of a planned SIS (EX) upgrade on Sat 20 Oct. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Box Office Server
The box office server crashed during the Internet connection outage on 12 Oct. Technicians rebooted it on the morning of 13 Oct.
Intermittent/Slow Internet Connection
The campus connection to the Internet is unstable with periods of extreme slowness or no connection at all. Info Systems is aware of the problem, which appears to be with our Internet provider. We are working to get it resolved.
UPDATE: Service restored by Internet provider at 10:45pm.
EX FAM module outage, PowerFAIDS 17.4
For those of you that use the Financial Aid module, there will be an upgrade planned for Tuesday afternoon from 8:00am until 10am. Please stay out of the FAM module while we get PowerFAIDs up to date to version 17.4.
You may use any other part of EX during this time.
Switch failure affecting Hillside, Roselawn
A switch failed to update disrupting network access in Hillside and Roselawn. Technicians are working to resolve the problem.
SIS and myEMU server update
There will be a short outage of Jenzabar EX and myEMU, to install updates to the database server.
