To upgrade the IOS on the firewall it needs to be rebooted.
There will be a short outage of Jenzabar EX and myEMU, until approximately 6:30 am, to install updates to the database server.
To install a new IOS the wireless controllers need to be rebooted.
The Notifylink service crashed and had to be restarted.
For those of you that use the Financial Aid module, there will be an upgrade planned for Tuesday afternoon from 8:00am until 11am. Please stay out of the FAM module while we get PowerFAIDs up to date to version 18.0.
You may use any other part of EX during this time.

We expect these services to be unavailable for well under 30 minutes.
Information systems needs to upgrade one of our network storage systems. This system stores the following data:
* Marketing: photos, design, videos
* CJP: images
* Print shop storage
* Podcasts storage
These drives will be unavailable during the outage.
We expect that several outages will be required based on previous experience
with this system. We want to schedule the first outage during the work week to
access timely vendor support. We will try to minimize the disruption caused by
future outages.
Users will be unable to print, copy, or scan for approximately 30 minute while updates are installed on the Equitrac server to resolve an issue with scan-to-email.
We will be updating core network infrastructure. Please expect disruptions as follows:
– 8:30 – 9:30am: Internet connection
– 8:00 – 12:30pm: Many EMU servers including moodle, mail, myEMU, web, file and print services.
– 12:30 – 2:45pm: Moodle and calendar.
Technicians encountered some problems during their work but were able to solve them within an extended outage. We appreciate the community’s patience.
