There will be a short outage of Jenzabar EX and myEMU, to install updates to the database server.
EX FAM module outage, PowerFAIDS 17.3A
For those of you that use the Financial
Aid module, there will be an upgrade
planned for Thursday afternoon from 2pm-4pm. Please stay out of the FAM
module while we get PowerFAIDs up to
date to version 17.3A.
You may use any other part of EX during
this time.
Notifylink Upgrade
The Notifylink service will be unavailable while it is upgraded to the latest version. All emails and calendar events will sync once the the service is back online.
Voicemail hardware replacement
The SCSI controller in our voicemail server needs to be replaced. During replacement, voicemail will be unavailable. Unanswered calls will continue to ring until the caller hangs up during this time.
*UPDATE* A problem with a replacement part delayed bringing the voicemail server back.
Voicemail
The voice mail system is down. Technicians are currently working to restore voicemail service.
MyEMU Outage
A scheduled backup process inadvertently brought down MyEMU. All services should be available now.
Rescheduled Third Saturday Maintenance
Tuesday (22 May 2012) from 6:30 – 8:30am is a scheduled information systems maintenance outage.
We have altered the usual third-Saturday outage schedule to accommodate May Summer Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR).
We expect outages for only the following systems between 6:30 and 8:30am on the 22nd:
* Jenzabar EX (Student Information Server)
* myEMU (my.emu.edu)
Voicemail hard drive replacement
The redundant hard drive in our voicemail system failed, and we will need to shutdown the voicemail system to replace it.
The outage took longer than expected due to some file corruption, but was otherwise successful.
Notifylink Upgrade
The Notifylink upgrade scheduled for 5/10 was not completed and will be repeated.
Notifylink will be unavailable for about 30 minutes. All emails and calendar events will synchronize once the service is back online.
