The Novell NDS (Netware Directory Services) data base has not been performing correctly since the Service Pack 3 installation on 1/5/2002. A consultant was hired to assist with debugging the issues on 1/22. Progress was made but users encountered failed logins regularly while the debugging work was performed from 1/22 – 1/24.

Scheduled Network maintenance. Installation of Novell Service Pack 3. Reconfiguration of numerous server power connections to new UPS distribution box.

Scheduled outage to upgrade systems.

Crushed fiber in Bible House resulting in no network in Suter house.

Switch in CTP needed to be reboot. The student vlan was not working

The blade in the router failed. All systems went through the router so nothing worked. By 10am 10/30/01 we had a work around. By 8:15am 10/31/01 the blade was replaced and all systems were functioning.
