15 Min – Planned reboot all Novell servers

All novell servers were rebooted to install some new software.

5 Hr FS crashed – could be because of NWFTPD

On FS Novell server the LDAP process abended. The server was able to be easily rebooted.

LDAP unavailable – 25 minutes
Total down time – 10 minutes

ST server keep locking up due to Timesync problems. Had to bring the server up in debug mode and manually remove NTP configuration.

Planned Reboot of Student Novell (ST) Server. A component within the Novell system is not functioning properly. Reboot of server required to fix it.

EMail server taken off-line for to image the system prior to significant diagnostics for some on-going IMAP email problems.

EMU Internet connection taken down for reconfiguration of second T-1 line. Returned to service, formally, at 2:00pm.
