Astra Schedule will be updated with a specific fix from the vendor to solve a problem with the earlier recommended upgrade, which could not be used.
SIS Unavailable/Monthly Backup scheduled
The Student Information System (AS400) and Campus Web will be unavailable Sunday February 19 from 9 am to 11 am for a monthly backup.
Multiple server outages – Disaster recovery prep
The following services will be unavaible for a period of about one hour during the span of this outage:
– Blackboard
– Calendar (Oracle)
– Terminal Services (TServe)
– EMU web server
Disk images will be taken of these servers for disaster recovery purposes.

Novell file servers maintenance
A directory services patch will be installed on all NetWare file servers, and disk images will be taken for disaster recovery purposes.
PUBLIC Copier outage Tuesday evening, Feb 14
The software that tracks usage of public copiers will be migrated to new hardware on Tuesday evening beginning at 5:00 PM. They will be unavailable for about 20 minutes while the migration is being completed. NOTE: This does NOT affect departmental copiers.
Short Blackboard outage early Tuesday, Feb 7
A minor software upgrade will be applied to the Blackboard server which will require an outage of less than 30 minutes. This is supposed to resolve some errors that have been occurring in Blackboard.
FSAPPS server crashed
FSAPPS file server hung at 100%CPU.
Calendar server crash
No response from the Calendar server. Server rebooted
Active Directory/Terminal Server problems
Users may experience errors while logging into Windows servers and may not have internet access once logged in.
