myEMU stopped responding to web requests. Technicians are evaluation the problem.
EX FAM module outage, PowerFAIDS 16.4
For those of you that use the Financial Aid module, there will be an upgrade planned for Monday morning until 10:00am. Please stay out of the FAM module while we get PowerFAIDs up to date to version 16.4.
You may use any other part of EX during this time.
Crash of Moodle Server
Moodle server crashed in a way similar to yesterday (09/06). Info Systems techs continue to research the problem.
We apologize for this inconvenience, especially to faculty and students whose classroom experience was impacted by this unfortunate outage.
Brief outage of www.emu.edu
The main EMU web server will be taken offline for a few minutes this evening for a maintenance issue.
Moodle Server Unavailable
The Moodle server crashed and required a reboot. Technicians believe it should be available in 15 minutes.
Oracle Calendar Outage
Oracle calendar will be offline for approximately 30 minutes for database maintenance. This will affect users who access the calendar via the web or Outlook.
Network access control sometimes not allowing internet access
The network access control system is not redirecting computers correctly after login. Users who need to login to NAC this morning are not able to access the internet.
Web Server Unavailable on Internet
Report received shortly after 10pm that the EMU web server was not available on the Internet. The webserver was unresponsive. All systems are now functioning normally.
Problem was identified and access was restored about 11:15pm. There might be a few lingering issues that Info Systems techs will resolve on Thursday morning, 08/25.
Library Catalog Unavailable
The library catalog server developed problems and was rebooted.
