The Novell server ST crashed with multiple abends.
myEMU server upgrade
We will be upgrading the server that hosts myEMU. Only myEMU will be disrupted by this outage–the SIS and desktop client access to it will be available throughout.
Jenzabar EX (SIS) and myEMU DB server updates
There will be a short outage of EX and
myEMU, to install updates to their database server.
EX FAM and PowerFAIDs 16.3 outage
For those of you that use the Financial Aid module, there will be an upgrade planned for Friday until 11:00am. Please stay out of the FAM module while we get PowerFAIDs up to date.
You may use any other part of EX during this time.
FS and ST Novell server rebooted
FS and ST Novell servers were rebooted due to CA problems.
Several switches rebooted to upgrade IOS
Several switches need to be rebooted to upgrade the IOS to resolve an issue with the Ciscoworks software.

2 switches received an ios upgrade to troubleshoot several ciscoworks issues. These devices and those downstream (from the 3750, would have experienced an intermittant (about 5 min) outage.
Netenforcer replaced
Due to a hardware failure the Netenforcer box was replaced. This caused an internet outage. Also needed to remove some cables so DMZ was also down.
Some on-campus computers not getting network access
A problem with one DHCP server, which provides IP addresses to many computers around campus caused network access problems for a number of computers.
This issue was resolved, though computers may need to be restarted to regain network access.
Novell servers – repairing directory services (DSREPAIR)
The Novell servers are being repaired today so intermittant authentication issues will be noticed.
