The email server developed an unusual network problem and had to be restarted.
FS and ST Novell Server short outage
The ST and FS (student and faculty/staff) file servers need to be rebooted for the installation of some new functionality. This should be a short outage and the servers should be back by 7:45 AM
Short Astra Schedule outage
The database server hosting the Astra database needs a memory upgrade.
Oracle Calendar unavailable
Currently the Oracle Calendar is unavailable. Users will not be able to log into Outlook or calendar.emu.edu.
Restarted calendar service.
Campus Web Outage
Campus Web will be unavailable for an hour while an annual procedure is run.
Terminal server outage
A problem has occurred during the installation of a software update. The terminal server will remain offline while the problem is fixed.
Faculty/Staff file server needs to be rebooted
The FS file server needs to be rebooted because of high processor utilization.
Network connections in Seminary down
Network switches in the Seminary were not responding. A faulty switch was bypassed and will be replaced ASAP.
Campus Web & Registration Module Outage
Campus Web and Registration Module will be unavailable from 9 am to 12 noon Wednesday, June 6 for a Registration Module update.
Only Campus Web and Registration Module will be affected by this outage.
No other modules are affected by this outage.
Terminal Server software upgrade & restart
A software upgrade was performed on Tserve which is supposed to fix several bugs which have caused stability problems with this server for nearly three years.
