Asbestos abatement activities have affected the network equipment in the Science Center. We have experienced an outage this afternoon and cannot guarantee that we will be able to maintain uninterrupted access until asbestos abatement is complete by Friday afternoon.

Unscheduled: Web, Moodle and myEMU access outside EMU Harrisonburg campus
Users outside the Harrisonburg campus were unable to access EMU web services including the web server, Moodle and myEMU due to a configuration error. We have resolved the problem.
Unscheduled: Internet Connection Outage
An unexpected restart of core networking equipment briefly disrupted Harrisonburg-campus access to the Internet and from the Lancaster and Washington locations.
Scheduled: Internet connection maintenance
Tuesday 16 Sept between 7:00am and 7:40am is a scheduled maintenance outage for the Harrisonburg campus internet connection. Internet connectivity may be disrupted during this time.
Our internet service provider set the schedule for this outage. We expect disruptions between 7:00 and 7:15am; there may be a brief disruption around 7:30am. We expect full service to be restored by 7:40am at the latest. Details of systems impacts follow:
- Harrisonburg campus: Access to printing, copying, network drives, and Moodle on the Harrisonburg campus will be unaffected. Access to the EMU website, myEMU, Gmail and the internet will be affected during periods of connection disruption.
- Lancaster and Washington locations: Access to printing and copying, and Gmail and the internet at the Lancaster and Washington locations will be unaffected. Users will be unable to access wireless, network drives, and Moodle during periods of connection disruption.
- Elsewhere: Off-campus users will be unable to access myEMU, the EMU website and Moodle during periods of connection disruption.

EX FAM module outage, PowerFAIDS 19.4
For those of you that use the Financial Aid module, there will be an upgrade planned for 9/12, Friday morning until 10:00am. Please stay out of the FAM module while we get PowerFAIDs up to date to version 19.4.
You may use any other part of EX during this time.
Scheduled: EX and myEMU
Thursday 11 Sept from 6:30-9:00am is a scheduled maintenance outage for Jenzabar EX and myEMU. We will be applying urgent hotfixes to Jenzabar EX. No reboot or client install will be required unless you are contacted by information systems staff.
We expect an outage for only EX and myEMU between 6:30am and 9:00am on Thursday the 11th. No other systems will be affected.

Sunday 7 Sept is a scheduled maintenance outage for Jenzabar EX and myEMU. We will be applying hotfixes to Jenzabar EX.
We expect an outage for EX and myEMU between 8:00am and 1:00pm on Sunday the 7th. No other systems will be affected.
