The mail server and wireless system failed after an extended power outage around midnight.

We do not yet know how long the email server and wireless will be unavailable. We will update this notice as we learn more.

Saturday (14 Apr 2012) is a scheduled Saturday information systems maintenance outage.
We have altered the usual third-Saturday outage schedule to accommodate installation of Jenzabar’s Budget Module.
We expect outages for only the following systems between 8am and 5pm on the 14th:
* Jenzabar EX (Student Information Server)
* myEMU (my.emu.edu)
The server hosting Astra Schedule hung while installing updates and was rebooted.
There is a network outage that affects the Campus center second and third floors.
For those of you that use the Financial Aid module, there will be an upgrade planned for Monday morning until 10:00am. Please stay out of the FAM module while we get PowerFAIDs up to date to version 17.2A.
You may use any other part of EX during this time.
Tserve2 did not come back up after a scheduled reboot and had to be manually started.
Saturday (17 Mar 2012) is the second part of a scheduled third-Saturday information systems maintenance outage.
The only system impacted by this part is:
* Jenzabar EX (Student Information Server)
The outage is for all day Sunday — when it is completed, no one should log into Jenzabar EX until Monday morning, 8:00 am, because of the amount of change in this release, and the requirement for support from IS.
