A communication problem with the uninterruptable power supply caused one of the mail servers to shut down.

Blackboard server problems
The Blackboard server is experiencing some problems and is temporarily unavailable.
Calendar server software upgrade
A routine software update to the calendar server. This will affect Outlook users, also.
Student Information System (AS400)
The SIS will be unavailable during the
monthly full backup, until
approximately 9:00 am.
Terminal Server hardware upgrade

Tserve will be moved to new hardware, and will be unavailable during that time.
Scheduled maintenance: disaster recovery prep & network changes
UPDATE at 1 p.m.: All services have been restored except e-mail, which should be completed by 2 p.m.

A significant outage will be required to make updates for disaster recovery. Also, changes to network settings will be made on several servers, requiring a brief outage.

EX databases structure will be updated to 2.9.2; the EX 2.9.2 application update will be applied to the training room PCs and tested; the EX update will then be distributed to all EX users.
E-mail server crashed
The mail server crashed, and is running a repair procedure before service is restored.

The student fileserver (ST) crashed, causing a problem that prevented everyone from logging in to the mail server. The student server was restarted to resolve the problem
