Printing Issues: Several printers are not functioning
This morning approximately 10 printers are not functioning properly. Please contact the Help Desk if your printer is not working.
Technicians are working on the problem and will notify the affected departments when the issue is resolved
FSAPPS and ST file servers not responding
The FSAPPS and ST file servers were not responding. Once the problem was discovered, the servers were rebooted.
Scheduled Astra Schedule update
A routine application update will be applied to Astra Schedule.
Scheduled Faculty-Staff file server work
The faculty-staff file server (FS) will be unavailable as data is moved to the storage area network.
Network file access and printing are affected. All other services will remain available.
Internet Outage
We are experiencing an unexpected internet outage. Technicians are working to resolve the issue.
Intermittent Internet Outages
There have been short Internet outages (approx 2 min). A configuration change was made and the problem has not recurred.
Outage of multiple services
A machine which hosts multiple services required a restart.
Lancaster connectivity problem
There appears to be a problem with the firewall at the lancaster campus. The unit was replaced and is now functional.
Blackboard problems – status report
As of 9:30 AM, Fri, Dec 15:
Blackboard is now accessible, however any FILES that were UPLOADED on Wednesday are not accessible. This does NOT include grades, discussions, etc., only uploaded files (Word documents, power point files, etc.) Information Systems is working to restore those files this morning.
AS of 3:00 PM, Fri, Dec 15:
Further research this morning (Fri) revealed that files that were UPLOADED between last Wed (12/6) and this Tue (12/12) were also missing. These have now been restored and Info Systems has located the files uploaded on Wed (12/13) and these will be restored within the next several hours.
At 3:55 PM Friday, the server needed to be restarted in order to complete the final phase of the restore procedures. This resulted in an outage of several minutes.
As of 4:30 PM Friday, the system is running normally and all files (that we know about) have been recovered and restored.
