Northlawn 2nd Floor Network Outage

Hardware failure is causing a network outage for many of the students on NL 2nd floor.

UPS went bad – replaced.

FS server unavailable

High utilization and no network connectivity. The system was rebooted.

FS server had crashed with multiple abends.

The voicemail system will be down for about 20 minutes for routine maintainence.

FS server became unavailable. Technicians are looking into the issue and rebooting the server.

The Student Information System (iSeries) will be unavailable while a Jenzabar PTF is applied. An hour interruption is anticipated.

The system affected will be Jenzabar application software (TE2000).CampusWeb will not be affected by this outage.

Beginning at 7:00 AM, two software updates will be applied to the Blackboard server. Total outage length is expected to be less than an hour.

The calendar server stopped responded and was rebooted.

6509 MSFC router – problem loading ACL
rolled back ACL change

FS file server – high utilization. Java processes were high. Was rebooted.
