2.5 Hr Outage During Reconfig of Internet Connection
Problems outside EMU developed while reconfiguring new Internet connection. Consultants are on-site working with our network technicians. We are hopeful that resolution will be found by 5:00pm, today (6/11).
1-1/2 Hr Planned Internet Connection Outage
Installation of new T-1 line. Disconnect of an existing T-1 line. EMU is changing Internet providers. 1-1/2 hour duration is reserved for this outage. We are optimistic that the actual outage will be less then this. All Internet connectivity will be lost during the actual outage. Incoming and outgoing email will be queued.
2 Hr EMail Maintenance Outage
Maintenance outage to secure updated OS image.
15 Min – Planned reboot all Novell servers
All novell servers were rebooted to install some new software.
5 Hr. FS crashed in AM.
5 Hr FS crashed – could be because of NWFTPD
25 min FS LDAP Process abended
On FS Novell server the LDAP process abended. The server was able to be easily rebooted.
LDAP unavailable – 25 minutes
Total down time – 10 minutes
1.5Hr NTP / Timesync problems on ST Novell server
ST server keep locking up due to Timesync problems. Had to bring the server up in debug mode and manually remove NTP configuration.
15 Min Planned Outage on Student Novell (ST) Server
Planned Reboot of Student Novell (ST) Server. A component within the Novell system is not functioning properly. Reboot of server required to fix it.
