Network switches in the Seminary were not responding. A faulty switch was bypassed and will be replaced ASAP.
Campus Web & Registration Module Outage
Campus Web and Registration Module will be unavailable from 9 am to 12 noon Wednesday, June 6 for a Registration Module update.
Only Campus Web and Registration Module will be affected by this outage.
No other modules are affected by this outage.
Terminal Server software upgrade & restart
A software upgrade was performed on Tserve which is supposed to fix several bugs which have caused stability problems with this server for nearly three years.
Terminal server crash
The terminal server crashed and had to be restarted.
Print Manager not responding on FS
The print manager on the Faculty/Staff server stopped responding.
FS was rebooted.
Printing services not responding on FS
The NDPS manager ran out of memory. Printing services were restarted on FS.
SIS Operating System Upgrade
The Student Information System (AS/400, iSeries, Campus Web) will be unavailable beginning Sunday, May 20 at 4:30 pm and all day Monday, May 21 for an operating system upgrade to V5R4.
The systems affected will be Jenzabar application software (TEAMS2000) and CampusWeb (https://campusweb.emu.edu).
No other systems are affected by this outage.
Planned web server security update
A security update will be applied, requiring an outage.
Scheduled file server and web server maintenance
Several patches and security updates will be applied to our Novell NetWare file servers. This will affect services that use the Royal username and password, including e-mail, network file access and printing.
The SIS, Internet access and Blackboard are unaffected.
Scheduled Internet outage
The earlier attempt was only partially successful. A new piece of equipment will be installed by our service provider.
