Moodle is currently down due to what appears to be a DNS issue. Please standby for updates. We apologize for the inconvenience.
We are currently experiencing an issue with the Moodle certificate.
There is currently an issue that does not allow users to log-in to Moodle. Please standby as we are working on this to restore service as soon as possible.
Update @ 9:40 AM: The upgrade has been completed.
We will be upgrading Moodle to version 3.8 on Thursday, December 19th from 9am to 12pm.

Turnitin services will be briefly unavailable on October 28, 2018:
To ensure that services remain stable, particularly during high submission periods, this micro maintenance (30 minutes) will include several hardware updates and performance improvements.
We will be upgrading Moodle to version 3.5 on Thursday, July 19th from 8am-11am.

Turnitin functionality from within the core Moodle assignment module will now be possible post upgrade. See here for more details.

The Turnitin service, which EMU uses through Moodle, will be unavailable because of scheduled maintenance on March 17, 2018 between the hours of 11 AM and 6 PM. Turnitin is a third-party service–EMU has no control over when they perform scheduled maintenance.
Their notification about this maintenance window states:
Users will be unable to submit and grade during this maintenance window, so please ensure that any submission deadlines are adjusted to fall outside of the window.
Turnitin provides a system status page which may contain updates about this outage.
Between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM on Friday, February 16th we will be performing software updates on some of our website servers. You may notice intermittent issues accessing www.emu.edu, moodle.emu.edu, and the Broadcast Email system web-interface during this time.
The web-accessible interface of the Broadcast Email system will be unavailable during this outage. However, emails sent into the Broadcast system will continue to be processed normally, but their delivery may be delayed slightly.
