All services have been restored except TServe (terminal server).

This outage will affect most network services, including:
– file & print services

– Oracle calendar
– Terminal services (TServe)
– EMU’s website
Internet access will remain available during this time.
Some services will be available during this period, though you are encouraged to not count on them.
Work to be completed includes:
– updates for disaster-recovery
– installation of new remote file access software
The Terminal Server crashed and had to be restarted.
Mac users were unable to connect to FS, requiring a reboot.
There will be a voice mail outage today for routine maintenance. During this time voice mail will be unaccessible.
Information Systems is planning a 30 minute outage of email late Thursday evening while new disks are attached to the server. Messages received during the outage will be held and delivered after the server is brought back online.
Our Internet service provider performed a scheduled change to our Internet connection, which was supposed to take about five minutes. An unanticipated problem extended the outage. The problem was resolved with the ISP’s help.
