Received call from Parkwood 942 RD that all students in 942 were without wireless and that wired didn’t work either. As of 4:00pm Info Systems mgmt confirmed that a technician must be brought to campus to solve the problem. Technician is enroute.
5:00pm Update: Problem resolved.
The blog system installed on the web server will be upgraded. This may cause service disruptions.
Oracle calendar will be upgraded to a newer version. The calendar will not be accessible from the web or Outlook during the upgrade.
The FS Novell file server is having some memory issues and needs to be rebooted.

ST file server crashed
Student file server “ST” needed to be rebooted.
The Student Information System and myEMU will be down from 8:00 AM for up to an hour, to install OS and application updates.
The ASA needs to be rebooted due to changes in the IOS code.
