Moodle Minor-release Upgrade
We will be applying a minor-point release upgrade to Moodle to enhance security and performance.
Print, Copy, Scan Outage
Users will be unable to print, copy, or scan for approximately 30 minute while updates are installed on the Equitrac server.
EX FAM module outage, PowerFAIDS 18.1
For those of you that use the Financial
Aid module, there will be an upgrade
planned for Friday afternoon from
8:00am until 11am. Please stay out of
the FAM module while we get PowerFAIDs
up to date to version 18.1.
You may use any other part of EX during
this time.
Saturday maintenance: multiple services affected
Monthly maintenance for January involves several services:
1. Jenzabar EX and MyEMU: a brief outage of 10 minutes or less.
2. Media storage: a system that hosts data for the Marketing department, printshop, and online podcasts will be unavailable for an extended time while troubleshooting and resolution procedures are carried out.
myEMU upgrade
The upgrade of Jenzabar EX for Monday 31 December has completed. The update of my.emu.edu continues, and will probably be completed sometime on Wednesday, January 2.
We expect outages for only the following system between 8:00 pm December 31 and 5:00 pm on January 2:

Rescheduled Maintenance Outage: myEMU, Moodle
This Thursday (20 Nov 2012) is a rescheduled information systems maintenance outage. (The original date was Saturday 15 Dec.)
We expect outages for only the following systems between 4:00pm and 6:00pm on the 20th:
myEMU (EX will not be affected) (finished at 5:30pm)
Moodle (finished at 4:45pm)

The Notifylink service will be inaccessible for at most 30 minutes while an update is installed.
