For those of you that use the Financial Aid module, there will be an upgrade planned for 4/12/17, Wednesday morning until 10:00am. Any connections to Financial Aid data will not be operational (FAM module, military subtab) while we get PowerFAIDs up to date to version 22.2. You may use any other part of EX during this time.
MyEMU and Jenzabar EX Scheduled Outage
Tonight, Wednesday 5 April from 8:30-9:30 is a scheduled outage for Jenzabar EX and myEMU. Both Jenzabar EX and myEMU will be unavailable during this time. No other systems will be affected by this outage.
We’ve scheduled this outage at an unusual time to correct a problem that prevents many scheduled tasks for running. The need for this fix is urgent. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Web services unavailable off campus
A failure of the webserver infrastructure caused an outage for users off campus. Service has now been restored.
Scheduled Print Server Reboot 3/30
The print server is scheduled for a reboot on March 30, 2017 at 7:00am. This will result in inability to print to EMU copiers and printers at the Harrisonburg campus, and may affect emailtoprint functionality. These effects should last only a few minutes.
myEMU Scheduled Outage
Saturday, March 25, is a scheduled information systems outage for myEMU. The outage will begin at 8:00 am and we expect it to last about two hours. myEMU will be unavailable during this time.
We expect the outage to be for only myEMU. No other systems will be affected by this outage.

Scheduled: Software Updates for Webservers
Between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM on Friday, March 17th we will be performing software updates on our website servers. You may notice intermittent issues accessing moodle.emu.edu, www.emu.edu, and the Broadcast Email system web-interface during this time.
The web-accessible interface of the Broadcast Email system will be unavailable during this outage. However, emails sent into the Broadcast system will continue to be processed normally, but their delivery may be delayed slightly.
Offsite web access unavailable
Due to a problem with web server infrastructure, EMU websites were not available off campus.
Scheduled file server reboot 3/2
The file server will be rebooted at 10 pm. This will result in the inability to access mapped drives, as well as causing very slow login times on EMU owned computers. These effects should last only a few minutes.
Scheduled: 25Live Outage
On February 21, 9:00, CollegeNET will temporarily take 25Live Test and Production environments offline for up to 30 minutes.
Scheduled: telephone system outage Saturday, 2/18
On Saturday, February 18 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, we will be taking a component of the phone system offline. During the outage you will be able to make calls from your office phone, however you will not be able to receive incoming calls. Off-campus callers will not be able to leave voicemail; they should receive either a busy signal or a message that the call cannot be completed.
