For those of you that use the Financial Aid module, there will be an upgrade planned for 2/11/16, Thursday morning until 10:00am. Any connections to Financial Aid data will not be operational (FAM module, military subtab) while we get PowerFAIDs up to date to version 21.1. You may use any other part of EX during this time.

Wednesday, February 3rd from 7-7:30 is a scheduled information systems outage for Student Information Systems (EX) and myEMU. We will be installing a minor SQL server update. EX and myEMU will be unavailable during this time.
We expect the outage to be for only EX and myEMU. No other systems will be affected.

Users are currently experiencing an internet interruption due to a popup from SafeConnect requesting them to download the policy key.

Saturday, January 2, 8:00 am to Sunday, January 3, 5:00 pm is a scheduled information systems outage for Student Information Systems (EX) and myEMU. We will be installing a major upgrade. EX and myEMU will be unavailable during this time.
We expect the outage to be for only EX and myEMU. No other systems will be affected.
Moodle will remain available at moodle.emu.edu .
If you use EX and your computer is not shut down during the upgrade, you will need to restart it for EX to work correctly.

ALL network services unavailable Monday, December 28
ALL network services will be unavailable Monday, December 28 from 7:30 AM to 7:30 PM. This includes all wired and wireless network connectivity and any service that relies on it. All EMU websites including but not limited to www.emu.edu, my.emu.edu, and moodle.emu.edu will be unavailable on and off-campus. This is the third of three major outages required to upgrade core network equipment.
At the Lancaster site, wireless and any connectivity to Harrisonburg will be affected, but other services should remain available.

myEMU and EX outage
Information Systems plans a scheduled systems outage for Student Information Systems (EX) and myEMU between 8am and 8pm on one day between 26 Dec and 31 Dec. We are working to finalize the date and will inform the campus when we do. We will be installing a year-end upgrade. EX and myEMU will be unavailable during this time.
We expect the outage to be for only EX and myEMU. No other systems will be affected.
Moodle will remain available at moodle.emu.edu .
If you use EX on a PC and have not shut it down for the weekend, you will need to reboot it after the update, before you first use EX next week.

Scheduled: Moodle upgrade to v2.9.3
On Tuesday, 22 December 2015 between 8:00am and 9:00am, Information Systems will be upgrading our Moodle system to version 2.9.3.
