Transient problems with server software caused slowness when accessing myEMU. These problems were corrected after they were discovered this morning.
EX and myEMU Maintenance Outage
Saturday March 21 from 8:00 am – 12:00 noon is a scheduled maintenance outage for Jenzabar EX and myEMU. We will be applying urgent hotfixes to Jenzabar EX.
We expect an outage for only EX and myEMU between 8:00 am and 12:00 noon on Saturday the 21st. No other systems will be affected.
If you use EX on a PC, you will need to reboot it after the update, before you first use EX over the weekend or next week.

Scheduled: Moodle
On Monday 2 Mar 2015 between 8:00am and 10:00am information systems will be upgrading our Moodle system to version 2.8.3 .
This upgrade will fix several bugs that users have encountered:
- the Gradebook Single view is now saving and updating as it should
- Turnitin’s Expanded Rubric view is now opening up as it should
Moodle will be unavailable during the upgrade; no other systems will be affected.

Network problems in Science Center
Network connectivity issues have been reported in the Science Center, and problems have been identified. Technicians are working on the problem.

EX FAM module outage, PowerFAIDS 20.1
For those of you that use the Financial Aid module, there will be an upgrade planned for 2/11/15, Wednesday morning until 10:00am. Please stay out of the FAM module while we get PowerFAIDs up to date to version 20.1.
You may use any other part of EX during this time.
Jenzabar EX (SIS) – Users unable to login
Users attempting to login to Jenzabar EX receive an error message and are unable to login.
Technicians are looking into the problem and will update this entry when more information is available.
This issue has been resolved.
myEMU and EX upgrade
Saturday, January 17 from 8:00am to 8:00pm is a scheduled information systems outage for EX (SIS) and myEMU. We will be installing a routine upgrade. EX (SIS) and myEMU will be unavailable during this time.
Only EX (SIS) and myEMU will be affected by this outage. No other systems will be affected.
Moodle will remain available at moodle.emu.edu .

25Live Update
On Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at 9:00pm, 25Live will b unavailable while an upgrade is performed. It will be unavailable for approximately four hours.
Network unavailable in Roselawn
Update: a replacement device has been put in service. The network in Roselawn should now be available.
A network device in Roselawn is failing. Technicians are currently working on the problem and we hope to have it resolved later this evening.
