Maintenance is required on the myEMU web server as a result of the power outage a couple weeks ago. MyEMU service will be intermittent during this time.

EX FAM module outage, PowerFAIDS 21.4
For those of you that use the Financial Aid module, there will be an upgrade planned for 9/8/16, Thursday morning until 10:00am. Any connections to Financial Aid data will not be operational (FAM module, military subtab) while we get PowerFAIDs up to date to version 21.4. You may use any other part of EX during this time.
Scheduled: Software Updates for Webservers
Between 6:30 AM and 7:00 AM on Friday, August 19th we will be performing software updates on our website servers. You may notice intermittent issues accessing moodle.emu.edu, www.emu.edu, and the Broadcast Email system web-interface during this time.
The web-accessible interface of the Broadcast Email system will be unavailable during this outage. However, emails sent into the Broadcast system will continue to be processed normally, but their delivery may be delayed slightly.
MyEMU and Jenzabar EX Scheduled Outage
MyEMU and Jenzabar EX will be taken out of service late Sunday night, August 14, to correct an issue that may be adversely affecting system performance. The outage will begin at 10:00 pm and we expect it to last about half an hour.

Scheduled: Upgrade Moodle to v3.1
On Saturday, 16 July 2016 between 9:00am and 1:00pm, Information Systems will be upgrading our Moodle system to version 3.1.
Moodle will be unavailable during the upgrade. No other systems will be affected.
Highlights of the new features in v3.1 include:
- Improvements to assignment grading
- Turnitin updates/improvements
- A couple of small updates to forums
- A recycle bin for retrieving items that were mistakenly deleted

Update 11:30am: Moodle is back up and functioning. If you are accessing Moodle from on the EMU campus and you continue to see the down for maintenance notice, please reboot your computer before contacting the Helpdesk.
MyEMU and Jenzabar EX Scheduled Outage
Saturday, July 16, 8:00 am to Sunday, July 17, 5:00 pm is a scheduled information systems outage for Student Information Systems (EX) and myEMU. We will be installing a major upgrade. EX and myEMU will be unavailable during this time.
We expect the outage to be for only EX and myEMU. No other systems will be affected by this outage, however an unrelated Moodle scheduled outage will be taking place simultaneously on Saturday.
If you use EX and your computer is not shut down during the upgrade, you will need to restart it after the upgrade for EX to work correctly.

Multiple server outages
Multiple servers were affected by a storage problem. This has been resolved and all services should be available again within 10-15 minutes.

Jenzabar EX unscheduled outage
On Thursday, 5/26, at approximately 9:35 am, Student Information Systems (only Jenzabar EX) experienced a momentary outage. EX requests made at that time would not have completed. And EX sessions in use over that time may have needed to log in to EX again.
The outage was due to operator oversight and will not be repeated.
